After the Fall
Roadmap
What the team is building for the server — what's underway now, what's coming next, what's on the horizon, and what's already shipped.
Allow admins to set up stores and administer what items are for sale, the prices, and the locations. This includes vehicles.
Obelisks placed around the map that allow players to recover partial or whole skills. We are currently testing this.
Have the most basic systems of the economy working. Essentially, players should have paths to earn and trade currency and that information should be accessible from outside of the game via the API. An event manager system should allow other mods to hook into events.
Players will be able to build 3 tiers of shop stands and purchase shop claim licenses to own one or more shop stands. This will also allow players to maintain and manage a separate shop inventory and define what's for sale and for what prices. Players will be able to approach a shop stand and see the shop's inventory, which is shared across all locations owned by that player. Players can spend their currency to obtain the items that are stocked there.
Timely review of our security policies on the server itself

Add descriptions in the vehicle store for all vehicles and variants.
Players will duke it out over 10 laps to win a fully loaded Lamborghini Countach in the variant of their choice! These will not spawn or be added to the vehicle store! They are strictly a race prize & will be one of a kind. Only the first place winner will win the Lamborghini. A consolation race will also take place where the top 3 will receive a brand new surprise vehicle! (TBA) | Check out the events channel for more information!

Design and roll out custom safety systems for After the Fall to improve player comfort and security within the community.
After being rudely interrupted by the release of the new wipe, it's time for Swelter Swarm part two! Intense heatwaves are rolling through Knox County with no warning for the rest of the week, and the zombies are acting differently. At least enduring the heat comes with some pretty sick rewards: [Increased chance at receiving zombie bounties | Increased minimum & maximum bounty amount | Paychecks are doubled | Double XP on all Physical & Survival Skills | Increased Yoga XP and Effectiveness | Increased Meditation Mindfulness & Effectiveness] Check out the Events channel in Discord for more information!
A new trading post will be setting up in a different location every week, bringing a rotating inventory of goods. You never know what you'll find, so keep an eye out for announcements and make sure to visit before the shop moves on. SHOP LOCATION TO BE ANNOUNCED. The only currency currently accepted is:🐇 Bunny Ear Headpieces. The more bunny ear headpieces you collect, the more treasures you'll be able to trade for. Happy hunting. Check the Events channel in Discord for more information!
Allow systems outside of Zomboid to connect and interact with the economy live. This means other mods, the After the Fall website, admin tools, Discord, and anything else we think of in the future.
Take a break from killing freshies for a few hours and watch Kill Bill with us! [Kill Bill is Tarantino's revenge story about a bride left for dead at her own wedding, who wakes up from a coma years later and starts working her way down a hit list to settle the score. It's part martial arts throwback part grindhouse homage, with a pretty sick soundtrack. It also happens to be Nat's favorite movie of all time.] | VIEWER WARNING: This film contains extreme violence and gore, as well as a disturbing animated sequence involving a child. Viewer discretion is strongly advised. | We will be splitting the movie into two movie nights, Vol. 2 will follow on Tuesday night at the same time, so make sure to catch Vol. 1 first! See y'all there!
Beacon does not know about the new systems we've built or how they work. We need to update her knowledgebase so she can accurately answer questions related to those things.
Add prompt caching to save money on responses to similar questions

The framework for staff to instantiate new "Legendary Items." This is a collection of status effects, ranges, buffs, debuffs, and functions that these items may have. Legendary items are intended to be rare and unique, unlike other items already in Zomboid, and will need to have custom abilities and actions associated with them through a well considered and well defined framework.
Admins will be able define zones quickly and dynamically that will have radiation rules applied. These will be large swaths of the map where you can only enter with the proper equipment, and even then, only for a limited amount of time. These zones will spawn rare high tier loot.
Zomboid's vanilla loot system is based on the definition of the room you're in and the containers in that room. There is no consideration for how rural or how urban or dense that area is. For better gameplay balance and more fun loot run gameplay loops, we want to add a spatial parameter to loot spawns. The type of loot found in a store downtown of a city should not always be the same as found out in a small town.
